Welcome back!! Have you signed up for the FREE 5-Day Manifesting Breakthrough Challenge?! .

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bealls Stores for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Here come the holidays. We stress out over things that really shouldn’t be stressed over. We want to make it perfect, and create amazing memories. It is hard out here for a mom at Christmas time. This year I’m taking it easy on myself. I’m still going to do a few things that are holiday staples in our family, but I’m doing it as stress free as possible.

Easybutton Holiday Cards!

A friend told me about a service that will do my holiday cards all online for me! No stuffing and licking envelopes, worrying about forgetting anyone (cuz I can log on and add to the recipient list any time) and no worrying about the picture either. I’m not taking holiday pics! Yeah you heard me! I’m just gunna find a decent pic of the kids from the past year and use that to make the cards online. Hell, I may just use the one at the top of this post! (So what if it’s from last year, haha.)

Shopping online!

Duh. This is a no brainer. I shop for gifts online ALL the time. However, for some reason I was always shopping for the home decor and ornaments in person. I guess I wanted to touch and feel everything… Not this year! (OK that’s not 100% true, I did go into Bealls and look at what they had on display….but I went home and bought the items online so I could use ebates on top of the already great prices. #imfrugalsueme I mean while I was there I had to shop for some toys and clothes but whatevs) They have the best florida and beach themed holiday items. I love it! It feels kinda weird putting up the heavy, winter-feel Christmas items. So I’m glad to switch things up with holiday items in a “lighter” vibe this  year. I like the idea of seastars on my tree:

Allowing Help!

From hiring the cleaning service more often, to buying a few pre-made food items, to letting the woman at Bealls wrap my Christmas gifts, I am allowing others to help me! P.S. I suck at wrapping gifts. Honestly, Rohan can do better than me at this point. I was waiting in line for an exchange and watched the gift wrapper lady in Bealls whip up this professional looking wrapped package so quickly. With a dope bow on top and all! I was lowkey jealous, but I know my strengths, and pretty wrapping aint one of em. After I watched her I vowed, no wrapping paper or tape will touch these hands this year!

Reclaiming my time!

I’m doing a lot of “one stop” shopping this holiday season. I like to chase deals/quality, so for example when grocery shopping, I’ll go one place for the better meats at a good price, then another for the best quality organic veggies, or lowest pantry item prices, etc.

Not for this holiday season. I’m going to ONE grocery store for EVERYTHING. I don’t care. I can’t take the extra stress. Bealls Florida was my go to for toy gifts for my nephew, the holiday decorations I mentioned above, the gift wrapping, clothes gifts for my cousin, and John, …and maybe some clothes gifts for myself because…I can. If I was thinking clearly when I was in the store, I could’ve picked up something for my other cousins and my parents while I was at it.

I’m lowkey into cutesy entry rugs, so I’m excitedly waiting for my sandy “snow”man rug to get here so I can start decorating outside!

UGGH!!! Why is accepting help so difficult? I’m slowly learning to do this. It’s OKAY to not do EVERYTHING yourself. Thanks for the reminder on this one.

Is it weird that I’m not stressed because I’ve literally done nothing LOL. Haven’t decorated my tree, haven’t purchased any gifts…don’t know what I’m doing on Christmas Day. Looks like I need to head to Bealls and do a full sweep there!

I’m not typically a big holiday celebrator because I’m generally not in the mood. I do feel stress though because everyone else on the planet is obsessed with the season. Perhaps I’m a scrouge. Anyway, I tend to check out of holiday madness by indulging in counter programming, mostly summertime, fun time movies!

Love these ideas particularly because my job has been taking about 95% of my energy and everything else about 4.99% – doesn’t leave me with much and as a matter of fact it doesn’t even feel like holiday season to me right now! The less stress I have, the better – online shopping has been my #1 go-to!
