20 Things the Rich Do Everyday
I found this list HERE but Dave Ramsey said he got it from the dude below:
Tom Corley, on his website RichHabits.net, outlines a few of the differences between the habits of the rich and the poor:
1. 70% of wealthy eat less than 300 junk food calories per day. 97% of poor people eat more than 300 junk food calories per day. 23% of wealthy gamble. 52% of poor people gamble.

I don’t like lists like these because they’re so nebulous….and generalizey….but it’s interesting to see the habits of the “wealthy” folks.
Do you do any of the things on the list?
I’ve got 11 of them down. A few don’t apply to me yet but I will when my kids are older. As for #14….I’ll be part of that 6% dammit!

I think this is a pretty good list to give us the mindset of those who are wealthy. It’s a beginning step for those who don’t know how to align themselves to prepare for their good fortune. It’s like winning the lottery–most people lose it all soon, others are able to hold on a little longer by adapting good habits.

I always feel bad for those lotto winners who lose it all quickly. It is a good list to be mindful of our day to day practices. Do you do any of the things listed?
Poised In Print says
It seems to be a general list with simple practices for success versus wishing for a big break. As always, there’s more than one way to skin a cat.
Dani Faust says
Absolutely! Do you do any of the things listed?
Carissa says
Yep so I am so about to change my life around and practice more tips of wealthy!!!! LOL!!!
Dani Faust says
Nice! Do you currently do any of the things listed?
HarlemLoveBirds says
Very interesting! Along the lines of eating well my husband was telling me in his research he’s found so many of the wealthy are vegetarian/vegan. Not sure if I could do that!
Dani Faust says
Do you do many of the things listed? Vegan? Hey…if you wanna PAY me millions of dollars to be vegan, I’ll do it. But I dunno if I could do it otherwise. I mean….bacon.
HarlemLoveBirds says
Ha ha! I feel ya on the bacon. I do well at saying what’s on my mind, to-do lists, career-based reading and minimal TV/no reality TV (I’m a PBS/NPR girl!) but need to get better at exercise and hope to plan to do family volunteer projects as Nia gets older.

I definitely do a lot of reading. I make sure to get in at least an hours of reading a day and I do read nonfiction books to the kids every once in a while. I enjoy making lists and writing my goals down. Some days I do only watch an hour of tv. Now, I need to work on getting the kids to just one hour of tv.
This is a pretty good list to show that you have be productive and purposeful with your time. Do things that will add to your value.
Dani Faust says
Good on you for reading so much and TVing so little!
