After my spa trip in Santa Barbara I vowed to take more spa days and indulge in this type of self care more frequently. Lucky, PGA National Resort and Spa was right there to grant my wish. I spent 2 glorious nights at the property and enjoyed a sampling of special spa treatments that are being rolled out for October….
oops…. I mean. Spatober!
Spatober is a promotion in the Palm Beaches where various locations are offering special discounts in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All participating businesses will donate a portion of their proceeds to the Palm Beach County chapter of the American Cancer Society.
SO basically…you going the spa this month, is doing good for the whole world!
There are many spas participating, you can visit spatober.com for more deets on those.
At PGA National Resort and Spa, I tried the Tickled Pink Pedicure and the Blushing Pink Rose Massage.
Walking into the spa automatically made my body start to relax. It smelled great and had a serene and calming vibe. The spa was beautiful and felt clean and luxurious.
I loved that the women’s lounge/waiting area had lights dimmed, and fresh fruit and infused waters and teas available. Also happy to report that everyone there was very respectful of the quiet, zenned out vibe created in that room. (The blogger in me must note, also happy to report there were lots of outlets to charge your phone …or post to social.)
The massage was first and it was lovely. My pressure requests were accommodated, and I will note. Some masseuses are afraid to give me a scalp massage.
This woman dove right on in and my scalp is now in love with her.
My pedicure was up next and I am going to say something dramatic, but I need you to know I’m 100% serious. It was the best pedicure I’ve ever had. And I’ve had about 50 million pedicures in my life in various countries, cities, and venues ranging from uber luxe, to ultra budget. This was by far the best pedicure, ever. When you go, ask for Gloria. She’s dope, and she’ll leave your feet feeling like the softest silk.
Here are their offerings for Spatober:
