(midway thru the challenge)
Can I tell you how cute I am?
I’m VERY cute.
LOL!
Seriously though, I’ve been using products from the Olay Luminous line and my skin has been getting better and better. I’m feeling myself.
So, about a month ago I started the #Olay28Day skincare challenge. I posted on Instagram with my starting point (click here to see) but it didn’t really show my problem areas well. Here is a clearer view of my starting point:
The discoloration on my cheek has been bugging me for a minute, and my skin’s texture wasn’t feeling as soft and supple. Plus, overall my skin just looked too dull for my liking.
So, I started using these:
- Cleanser: Olay Luminous Micellar Water
- Serum: Olay Luminous Miracle Boost Concentrate
- Overnight Mask: Olay Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask
If I was hanging out inside for the day, I’d use this as well:
- Lotion: Olay Luminous Light Hydrating Lotion
Thoughts on the products:
I love the Micellar Water because it was so different for me. I used it in the mornings after showering before any other products. The Miracle Boost Concentrate felt so smooth going on and I loved how my skin felt immediately after applying it. The Light Hydrating Lotion was very light. The Overnight Mask was my absolute favorite. It was so thick and creamy going on, I felt like Blanche Devereaux or someone else that would wear a silk negligee and “retire to the bedroom” at night. Know what I mean? It was decadent and made me feel fancy. ☺
Results so far:
Well, I don’t know if this is a technical term, but I feel GLOWY! My skin just seems brighter. My skin is definitely much improved in texture. I wish you could come caress my face and feel how soft I am. I didn’t know it would improve my texture so much in such a short time.
My trouble spot on my cheek with the discoloration is coming along nicely. It seems much less starkly contrasted than before, which is nice. I don’t wear foundation, but if I did, now that the texture has improved so much, I know I could easily cover the discolored patches and look flawless.

My favorite part about the #Olay28Day challenge:
I got back into a legit skincare routine! I was diligent with my wash, serum, moisturize regimen. It felt good doing something like that for myself again. It’s like mini-self-care each morning and evening. I will be a momshell in no time if I keep this up!
Try the #Olay28Day Challenge for yourself. And check out the hashtag on social to see other women’s before and afters too!
