My Son Made Me Want a Hover-1 Scooter

A scooter was never on my list for Santa… but my son made me want a Hover-1 Scooter. I am sold!

My son is upset that I won’t get him an electric scooter.

Note: He has a bike, a ‘manual’ scooter, and a skateboard.

PS: We don’t even have a sidewalk on our street.

Still, I went online looking for scooters to possibly give him one for Christmas. So far, the answer is still no.

But while I was in scooter research mode, I got the email from Best Buy to participate in a scooter campaign! In my head I was like ‘Wow, what a manifestation Rohan made!’

The Hover-1 Electric Folding Scooter is a great back to school vehicle giving your student an easy way to get to and around campus or the neighborhood. I’d love to have had this to get around the UD campus back in the day.

It has a range of 16 miles before it needs a charge, and it tackles hills at angles of up to 15 degrees effortlessly, so you can ride almost anywhere. This Hover-1 electric folding scooter has 8.5-inch tires that can handle rough terrain without a problem. You can learn more on

After looking at a bunch of scooter options and learning SO much about this one. …I now want a Hover Scooter. Why? I have an entire car. And I’m not that into bike riding. But my kids are. So I could scooter around, while they bike! So now I have a scooter on MY Christmas list and Rohan is to blame lol.

My sweet daughter always wears her helmet, but we fight about her putting it on properly to cover her big ol’ forehead fully. Well…I should say, we USED to fight about it. After she had her first fall and bonked her head, she learned to put the helmet on properly without mommy’s prompting.

Have you bought a scooter for your kiddos?
