Welcome back!! Have you signed up for the FREE 5-Day Manifesting Breakthrough Challenge?! .

oh yes i did

Welp,

I’m going hard girls.

I’ve been really good about working out 4 times a week for the past 10 weeks or so…but I’m not seeing the results I want.  I am blaming the fact that I’m pushing 30 and things don’t snap back they way they used to.
….
Ok, I’m really blaming eating pizza and bbq all the damn time, and multiple icecream pops each night, and pigging out with John on his “low carb” meat binges and just being a Piggy MacGlutten these days.

BUT

NO MORE I SAY!!!

As of yesterday I began 5:30 a.m. workouts.  You read that correctly. And yes, I want to kill myself already.  But, I have to fit in some serious working out around my newly packed work/school/coaching/writing schedule.

Here is Operation Kristal Marshall:

Monday – Friday a.m. – cardio minimum / cardio + 1 body part maximum
Wed/Thu/Fri p.m. -classes @ gym
Sat/Sun – light cardio / total body circuit / abs

But this may change.  The only definite is the a.m. cardio and the gym in the evenings.  I may go back to lucian’s strength routine from last year or find a 2-day split in one of my fiftyeleven oxygen mags I have hanging around.  We’ll see.

As for nutrition:

I’m going to actually start eating clean. But I’m not going crazy with this because I know myself and I’ll end up face first in a trough of Mcdonald’s fries if I try to go super strict.

Breakfasts: eggs/shakes/low sugar cereals/oatmeal

Snacks: greek yogurt/fruit/edamame/carrot sticks

Lunches/Dinners: homemade soups/salads/veggies n chicken/veggies n fish

Desserts: (my weakness) just ONE ice cream pop a night/oven roasted apples or pears

Drinks: well, no more wine, sadly.  Lots of water.  My only indulgence will be my “gramma” tea which is a comfort thing I cannot give up!

Depending on how this goes for the first few weeks, I may buy a clean eating cookbook just so I don’t get psycho from restriction and hole myself up behind the counter of a chipotle slamming barbacoa or something.

I have 8 weeks till our honeymoon and that means I have 8 weeks to get as close to bikini ready as possible.

After vacay, I am hoping to maintain the clean eating…I figure this is a good jump start to how healthily I will be attempting to eat once I’m pregnant.

Who’s Kristal Marshall you ask?

My body inspiration.  I want to be a sliiiightly softer version of this:

Do you have a “body inspiration”? Are you doing any exercise/nutrition changes to get ready for summer, or just in general?

I do have a body inspiration and it's the girl who does the YouTube BodyRock.tv videos. She is ridiculous! I know I can get to what she is because her body type (except for height. I don't know how tall she is but I'm 5'10") is very much like mine and what I have been in the past.

So good luck to you! I am sure working out will be easier to continue with when you have a goal (end date) you're working toward.
