Do you have any guilty pleasures? How about those not so guilty ones? Like things you do often, that may not be the best thing for you, or best use of your time, but you just do them anyway and feel no guilt whatsoever. Got any of those? I have a lot of pleasures, but I don’t feel so guilty about most of them.
Here are my top 3:
Binge Watching TV
Netflix is bae but The Nvidia Shield is our enabler. We can watch live TV with it, or movies (even ones out in theaters now -ssshh.), netflix, hulu, whatever! I’ve gotten John hooked too. Once the kids are in bed we watch a couple epis of whatever show we’re currently binging. I will legit work real hard on Saturday, so I can spend a lazy sunday eating and bingewatching part of a series.
A few shows I recommend: Sneaky Pete, Narcos, Better Call Saul, Stranger Things, Travelers, OITNB, Ozark
My “guilty pleasure” shows: The Bachelorette (Eric should have won), Ink Master, Power, Any Fitness Show, and any Competition Reality show that you need a skill for: Survivor, Project Runway, Chopped, etc.
Carbs at large
Yes. I’m a “low carber” in general. But…you see…sugar is tasty. And I like it. So I eat it. (My stevias are good, but just don’t always cut it) Not all the time. But not exactly in moderation either. When I am having a carb day….I. Go. IN. I’m getting back to being very strict for another 30 days of keto eating, but for the past 2 weeks I’ve been eating sugary treats as the whim hits. #notguilty #notonebit #iblametraveling
Do you have any “go to” carb treats? For me it’s oreos, ice cream, and pastries. (But pasta could get it too)
2:00 a.m. Amazon.com Purchases:
These things for my nails during at-home manicures.
This creepy looking, but effective toothpaste.
These salts after my renewing trip to Santa Barbara.
I don’t sleep so well sometimes (you already know, cuz I told you here) so I shop. I mean…I would feel guilty about it, but I get such good deals I’m really doing everyone on my family a service!
