Welcome back!! Have you signed up for the FREE 5-Day Manifesting Breakthrough Challenge?! .

I have been removing a lot from my life lately. Paring down my home, my belongings, my responsibilities, etc. I’m trying to give myself space. I want to clear space so I have more time, freedom, and energetic space for more blessings to come my way.

I’m saying no to more things. I’m keeping things as simple as possible, and I am meditating more. Meditating is a practice that I started in earnest back in 2005 that I’ll continue forever. I’ll be honest. There are times when I am meditating 3x a day, 1x a day, and times when I go spans without sitting in silence.

When I look back at my life via journals, it is clear to spot the periods that I was not meditating. My moods are more erratic/negative, I’m manifesting less good stuff, and the journals read ‘heavy.’ It’s the opposite when I am steadily meditating. Even if just a few times a week.

If you are interested in improving or ramping up your meditation practice here are a few tips:

Move First

Stretching, foam rolling muscles, walking, or my favorite: yoga beforehand can help you loosen up and be more relaxed for your practice. YogaDownload.com is offering two weeks of unlimited classes for just $1. Try em out here: YogaDownload.com

Have Sacred Space

The setting of your meditation ultimately isn’t the most important. Feel free to meditate wherever and whenever you can. However, having a sacred space just for communing with the divine can help to deepen your practice by getting you into the right headspace. Now, this doesn’t have be an entire meditation room, but a corner of a room where you have your altar, crystals, incense, pillow or mat would be great. AGAIN: this is not necessary so please don’t let this hold you back. You can meditate anywhere.

Use Crystals

We are all energy right? Everything is. Crystals are powerful and hold/radiate a lot of energy. Different crystals can be used for different purposes. A safe bet is to get a quartz or amethyst to begin with your meditation practice. If you want a surefire powerful crystal with energy you can feel strongly as you hold it, check out ARK Crystals. Using them during meditation helps your body attain harmonic resonance with source. Hold it in your hand or wear around your neck or just have next to you while you meditate.

Journal It

Keep track of your meditation experiences. Logging immediately after each time you practice helps you stick to the habit, and notice any trends. You can dictate the details into your phone’s note app or use a planner/journal to keep records. I use a Clever Fox planner as my wellness planner. In here I log my meditation experiences, how I felt, any insights gleaned, images/words that popped into mind, etc.

Overdo It

One sure fire way to enhance your meditation practice is to do more of it. The more often you meditate, the more comfortable you become with getting still. It will get easier for you to quiet your mind and sense the guidance awaiting you. It is my opinion that there is no such thing as too much meditation.

What are your tips for boosting your meditation practice??
