If you even dare to breath the wrong way in my presence….you gon’ get it.
That’s how I’ve been feeling.
OK – So here’s a short summary of last week:
And there you have it.
Side eye to the world.
I’m all in my emotions.
Look how small I used to be:
Check me out 23 weeks pregnant, and 24 weeks pregnant with Rohan!
Oh to be that small again…..
(I’m feeling lazy at the moment, but I’ll put a pic of my current 6 month belly in here shortly.)
OK here’s this week’s survey:
How Far Along? 24 weeks! 6 months down, 4 to go!
Symptoms: Mega hunger, lethargy, cramps and spotting, headaches, mood swings, super emotional, huge painful breasts, random spurts of energy followed by a crash.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am up 13 lbs!! I gained only 1 lb in 2 weeks. I guess that is balancing out the 6 lbs I gained the two weeks prior?
Sleep: It’s so uncomfortable.
Food Cravings: Salty stuff, tangy, briney stuff. Spicey stuff. I have started craving mango juice which I needed at all times while pregnant with Roey.
Best Moment This Week: Having Roey come over out of nowhere and hug my belly, give my bellybutton noseys (“eskimo kisses”) and rub it and say his sister’s name. He’s gunna be the best big brother!
Movement: Tae Bo class must be in session all day long for this lil one.
Labor Signs: None recently! Hooray!
Stretch Marks: No new ones. I’m using Bio Oil religiously after bathing. (I think the bio oil is making my current marks get lighter!!!!) And if my belly gets itchy I lube up instead of scratching. I just fear that I’ll get new ones since I’m growing so fast and am so big this early on. (same as last week)
Maternity Clothes: Oh I’m in all maternity tops, and I’m wearing my old jeans with a belly band, and maternity jeans also. I ordered my leggings and support band. I think I may have to get a maternity coat for winter. I was cheapin’ out. (still am…)
What I Miss: sleeping well, pooping well, moving well, picking up Roey easily, not worrying, being fit, exercising, sex
What I Am Looking Forward To: I’m looking forward to hitting the 3rd trimester on new year’s day, and a safe and healthy delivery of my baby girl in March.
Milestones: I am 6 months pregnant. That’s quite a milestone. We’re getting there, slowly but surely!
Weekly Wisdom: Get some rest.
