Compare to me at 17 weeks pregnant with baby #1. (OK I don’t have a 17 week survey from last time, so that’s 18 weeks)
Maaaan let me tell you about this daggone pregnancy. I don’t know why but all the crazy bits of preggo-ness is coming way early this time. I love, I hate, I have no patience, I am overjoyed, I’m crying, I’m laughing…Gawd.
I cannot read sad things, or seriously, my world will come to an end. I read a woman’s birth story about her child that was born super duper early and is in NICU and I bawled so hard John came hobbling in to console me.
My vagina … no…. my entire groin/hip area and my vagina is going to detach itself and fall to the ground at
any. second. now. And remember that “morning” sickness that allegedly goes away after first trimester? Yeah….it’s back. And has me barfing up after each meal. Lovely.
OK no more complaining….for the moment…
In other news, Rohan can say his baby sister’s name! It’s super cute, and he knows he’s doing something we love when he says it so he’ll say it with a big cheeze grin and look at both of us for approval. ::sigh::
I seriously hope it’s a girl, or else we’ll have to figure out how to get him to stop calling this imaginary girl’s name.
OK 17 week Survey Real Quick:
How Far Along? 17 Weeks!! Just 23 (ish) weeks to go!
Symptoms: Ugh. Just….ugh. The nausea is the worst, and I’m just so sleepy. My hips/groin is achey too. And belly is itchy and I’m moody, emotional and cry at the drop of a hat
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 4 lbs so far. We’re movin’ on up!
Maternity Clothes: Not really yet. My jeans are getting a wee bit too snug though. So soon I’ll dig out my preggo jeans.
Stretch Marks: No new ones yet. I’m trying my best to avoid getting any more. I’m using Bio Oil and my other oils/lotions to moisturize my belly whenever it gets itchy.
Sleep: It’s not the best…I’m waking to pee a whole bunch, and I’m having trouble getting comfy.
Food Cravings: salty stuff, but now I’m also wantin’ chocolate chip cookies and frosted flakes and lots of juices.
Best Moment This Week: Roey calling his sister’s name. Having a nice family day at the park. Roey’s first time playing on his own in the playground.
Movement: I felt another blip. She’s getting active and I guess since her bones are starting to get hard now I can feel her a lot better.
Labor Signs: none at all. Hopefully none until at least 37 weeks
Belly Button In Or Out? By day: Half Out …. By night: 75% Out
What I Miss: Pooping!! Ughhhh. Energy. Running. I can’t believe I miss running. Maybe I only miss it cuz I know I can’t do it, lol.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Finding out the gender!! It’s taking FOREVER to get to Nov 9!
Don’t forget to Vote!
Milestones: Feeling movement a lil more frequently feels milestoney to me.
Weekly Wisdom: Don’t believe in “morning sickness” it’s all day every day sickness, and it’s evil.
