Finding ‘the one’
If you are looking for love in all the right places but keep coming across a load of frogs and absolutely no princes, or princesses for that matter, then it could be high time to start looking elsewhere. Don’t despair if you are single and ready to mingle but just can’t find any suitable suitors; there are plenty of people out there just waiting for dating, it’s just a case of finding the right ones in the right places.
There is nothing more disappointing than building up a relationship with a witty, good looking candidate through online dating and sharing loads of banter, only to meet them on a date IRL (that’s internet speak for ‘in real life’ for those not in the know) to find that they have all the personality of a damp flannel, the picture you’ve seen was clearly taken from a distance at least ten years ago and they are at least 4 inches shorter than their profile suggested.
What’s perhaps even worse is being set up by well-meaning friends on blind dates with candidates who have all the table manners of an ill-trained monkey, as well as the social skills of one. It can leave you feeling as though there must be a sign on your head reading ‘single and desperate: all idiots please apply’.
So if you’ve already tried online dating, speed dating and being set up on blind dates by well-meaning friends all to no avail, what is the answer? Sometimes finding love can mean looking a little deeper, and perhaps trying to find you spiritual match. A tarot reading from TheCircle could be the first step in finding out just where you can find your true love and what sort of person you are destined to be with. Sometimes stepping away from the dating game and looking at things from a spiritual point of view can be just what you need to find your Mr or Mrs Right. So, what are you waiting for…?
Have you found the one? Did you find him in an unexpected place?
[Dani’s Note: Or did you find your hubby ‘in da club’ like me? *hangs head in shame*]
Sarah is a dating convert who spent years shying away from meeting new people. She has now been engaged to her finance, Chris, for just over a year after her friend convinced her to try out speed dating! She truly believes there’s someone out there for everyone but has realized that sometimes you might find them in the most unexpected of places.
