I haven’t done a “life update” type post in ages. And I didn’t want to, until I found this kinda different/fun format to guide it. Birthday girl Kaya turned 3! We celebrated for 3 days, going to play spaces, chuck e. cheese, build a bear, out to eat, and had an all day pajama party. I think she enjoyed herself!
Here is what I’m currently:
This manifestation course I took last year that made a big difference in my life. I’m now re-taking it and already just a few days in had a surprise money manifestation that bumped us up 30 grand!! Love it. Right after writing down that I wanted to manifest more event invites, I got an email from a Miami hotel to come visit them, and a bloggy friend invited me to Legoland for a media event!
The course is by Denise Duffield Thomas, I told you about here before, she’s the one with The Lucky Bitch books and website. When she opens her Bootcamp up again I think I’m going to take it. Love her stuff, it just helps me so much. If you wanna try the manifestation course too, click here to read what it includes.
Also currently loving my new haircut! But I’ll do a separate post on that!
Here’s a sneak peek tho:
Clearing Out. I am going to have to do more posts about decluttering, minimalism and chucking kids toys. It’s making such a huge difference in our lives and I know it’ll make a huge difference in yours. From google analytics, it looks like you guys are really digging the content too. I’m slowly clearing, giving away, donating and tossing my way through the house. It is freeing up such a great energy. It’s amazing. My closet was such a wreck, but I cleared it out and it’s like I magically doubled my wardrobe….which I now need to re-purge. haha!
Homeschooling. I pulled Rohan from his lil part-time preK program and am working with him at home only. I have both nuggets at home full time and it’s a lot but I love it. It’s a challenge trying to work with both him and Kai at the same time so I’m going to have to adjust my approach to their schedules. It’s a lot of fun though…and it’s increasing my “homeschool self esteem” lol. I keep looking at Kindergarten curriculums for him, and pre-school workbooks and ideas for Kai. We are sending Rohan to kindergarten, but I still plan to work with him at home. I told you in this post we will start full time homeschooling him at 6 or 7.
All the things…. like… ALL. The. THINGS. ::hides face in shame:: I have watched more TV so far this year than I did all of 2016 I think. I just needed to zone out and turn off my brain. But now…I need to get off that habit. I am doing another 30 day challenge for April and one of the challenges is ZERO TV except one movie friday nights and Walking Dead’s last episode with John as our lazy at-home date nights. So… I’m gunna need you guys to give me some good recaps of all the shows.
Everything paleo related. I’m so obsessed with reading about paleo and sugar/carb free living these days. I’m looking up recipes that I’ll never make, lol and pinning the mess out of everything paleo. I read about 5 or 6 paleo books from the library and am just obsessing over it right now. It’ll ease up soon.
Other recent reads:
- The Map – I read this book once or twice a year just to remember I’m magical
- What Your Kindergartner Needs to Know – this was so dense…I couldn’t make it through
- Mastering Your Mean Girl – haven’t started but got it from Audible to start tonight 🙂
Looking forward to
Travel! I’m looking ahead to spring and summer trips. The surprise Legoland trip being #1. Then end of April a weekend away for John’s 40th bday… probably to Miami. May I have a solo trip to Orlando to speak at and attend Mom 2.0 Summit (are you going?) and then June we have a week-long family cruise, and then I head off to Orlando solo again to speak at and attend BlogHer 17! I’m so excited. And I know more good travel opportunities are going to pop up for me because of my manifestation course 🙂
What are you currently up to?!
(this post was inspired by Running With Tongs. Not sure how I stumbled onto her blog, but I dig it.)
