I biked for 30 minutes today while watching an old episode of americas next top model. I went only 6.22 miles.
I’m way more motivated to push weights around versus bike or run these days. I’m glad I got that bit of cardio done though. I dunno if it’s irrational fear, or a legitimate possibility, but I feel like if I do a lot of cardio in between my strength days, I’ll undo any possible muscle gains I may receive from my strength days.
I’ve decided to start drinking a protein shake somewhere in my day. I know I don’t eat well, but I think I’m not eating enough to support muscle growth. I’m going to try to eat more and better, without having a true ‘plan’ and not starting a real competition diet until summer. Til then I’ll just try to up my protein as best I can.
I’ve been working out for 6 weeks! YAY!! I see no change in my body yet though. BOO!! I’m going to keep plugging along though!! I’ve had a few low weeks within the past 6 so…what can I really expect!
I feel good about my training so I’m sure I’ll see results soon enough.
