How was your thanksgiving?! I hope you had a great time celebrating with family and friends, eating great food, doing whatever traditions you do, and even watching football.
Ours was a quiet and small affair this year. I had a great meal with my parents and my brother, and then Embry reminded me that Thanksgiving is about sharing and forced me to share the great meal I just had….with the toilet. Thanks kiddo! John came from his family’s house over to my parents’ for dessert and games….I didn’t partake in dessert (even though I slaved away making cheesecakes) just in case Embry wanted to teach me the sharing lesson again.
I meant to take pictures of the Thanksgiving spread like a good blogger but….well…I’m not a good blogger. Sorry girls.
Are you heading out for any sales today? I am spending this black friday on the couch, finishing my Christmas shopping the way I started it…. online!
Last year I lost my mind and wanted to try the crazy blackfriday early sale madness. I forced John to come with me to Target at 5am. We get there and there is a line around the block to get in, cops patrolling and keeping the “shoppers” in line… it was crazy…we just turned right back around. We went back in the afternoon sometime and was able to walk right in and get the few items I wanted. But the TVs and other electronics were all gone.
I’ll never go out early again.
Hope you’re enjoying your long weekend!!
What did you eat for thanksgiving? Does your family do traditional items or ethnic items or what?! I love hearing about different traditions!
