My first month as a beachbody coach was pretty good. I have been documenting it and want to keep it for future new coaches to learn from any mistakes I make! I didn’t want to come off like one of those salesy chicks, so I was keeping beachbody off of this blog…then I realized, this is going to be a big part of my life, and this blog is about my life, so I’ve got to share it here. It just makes sense. (Plus I’m just too busy to maintain two blogs, F that!)
I couldn’t do much in the way of my personal beachbody transformation. I signed up on March 6th. I was ready to pop my daughter out so no working out, or shakeology for me. Since having Kaya I have been drinking shakeology and have noticed benefits with my regularity and digestion. (John has been drinking it and loves it too. He’s not craving sugar as much as before.) The company encourages you to do personal development daily which you already know is right up my alley! So I have been reading and listening to audio books and doing a lot more journaling too.
I have been reading as much as I can on wellness, and coaching within beachbody, and am excited to start creating challenge groups. My coach is a top coach and also very passionate about helping people so she’s great to learn from. I realize I’ll be able to blend my life coaching and motivational (yet ballbusting) style of coaching right in with the fitness/wellness coaching beachbody does. They really don’t force you to do anything specific, you can help your clients however you want. I love that.
I’ve learned tons and I feel ready to start a challenge group when I do my personal challenge of T25 in May. (After the doctor clears me to work out!)
This is another aspect that I have been researching, from even before I joined with the company. I know this can be a really lucrative business, but I didn’t’ know much about network marketing. Now that I’ve read so much, I get it and am excited to build a team of fitness and business minded people to grow with. I signed up two coaches and increased my rank already. I made a few hundred bucks in month one, and I’m happy with that, keeping in mind that I’m just starting out and have so much to learn still. I’m happy to be supplementing my blogging/writing income….I’ve got grad school tuition to pay soon!!
Beachbody is super supportive as a company and my coach is as well. There are tons of trainings, apprenticeships, one on ones, FaQs … everything you could want to get any question answered. I’m really excited about what’s to come.
