Month Three was my slowest month yet. I did reach the success program that earned a free ticket to Summit (beachbody’s huge national conference) in Vegas next June though! I didn’t make more money than month two and that was one of my goals. I lost a coach, just last week actually, but I gained one who seems super driven. So, we had some ups and downs this month.
Personal Health / Wellness
I had a setback this month, but I’m recovering and getting back on track.
I was making a little progress in my energy level, and “wind” but my time away from working out has set me back on that front. Back to my T25 and feeling good. Clean eating is not as clean as it was at home, but I’m working to find a balance. I like that I’m not letting setbacks hinder me. Having my challenge group to be accountable to really helps more than I thought it would!
My challenge groups are really the best. The women in them are doing well, and like I just mentioned, they’re keeping me accountable too! I have a few clients we are not in challenge groups that update me their progress via email, and a few people who are only doing shakeology because they cannot currently work out. I’m happy that even those that are just replacing a meal with shakeology and not doing anything else, not even eating cleaner, are STILL seeing results! I’ve got my family down here in florida drinking the shakes too. My gram and brother LOVE it.
This is slow and steady. I’m doing well with attracting people to my challenge groups, which is great, but engaging new coaches in our team is slow. Like I mentioned earlier, I lost a coach within her first month, and I gained a very motivated coach. I have to figure out how to present the opportunity to people, without coming off like those pushy wrap people. I also have to figure out how to be sure I’m adding people to the team who will see the business through and not quit soon. I guess that comes with time and with developing into a better leader. It’s a hard balance to strike because I really just want to tell everyone OMG DO IT DO IT!! You’ll make money, you’ll have fun, you’ll expand yourself, you’ll help soooo many people, you’ll make a new “family” But you can’t just bombard someone with that, ya know?
Oh so let me tellyou! I had one person approach me about building their own beachbody business after my first month, and I was explaining what we do and how we do it. She was focused only on earnings, and even after I showed her my earnings, and the beachbody earnings, plus earnings of fellow coaches, she was really wary and is now a wrap distributor. I called her out on it and she said she went with the wraps because they posted their earnings every week. Although I was turned off by leading with the money aspect of coaching, I wondered for a split second if that’s what would work to build a team… But I think for now I’ll stick with trying to find people who love helping people as much as they love earning. (PS I’ve since asked homegirl to return the favor and send me her earnings….still waiting….::side eye::
