Rohan’s a fish! A real Shark! I threw him in the pool and he just swam and swam! It was incredible.
::peeks to see if you’re buying it::
OK…
Rohan went into my aunt’s pool for the first time this week. We were in for about 15 minutes before he started to seem agitated. He really didn’t seem to know what to make of it. He was kinda smiley and happy with me, but he didn’t kick his lil piston legs or splash his arms the way he does in his lil tubbie for baths. Maybe it was too new, too much sensation at once? I dunno. But we’ll be going in every day for a few minutes until we leave Florida. He sleeps great after 15 mins in the pool!!
Here he is (Disregard the zombie with the high pitched voice that’s holding him.)
Do your kids like the water? Did they like it when they were lil babies?

What a cute video!!! He looks a lil nervous and not sure what to think.

He is too cute! Confession: I really did buy into your intro there. LOL
I have to commend you on putting him in the water early. Granted, I don’t have kids but I think it will help him later on in life. My brother and I were terrified of water. Because of it we never learned how to swim despite going to several pro swimming classes. It wasn’t until I was 17 and made a conscience effort to conquer my fear did I learn how to swim. I taught myself that summer in our backyard swimming pool. Hopefully, starting with Skarkie now will eliminate any fears of water and swimming issues later on in life.

My girl hated the pool when she was smaller. It wasn’t until just recently that she loves it and has no fear.
He’s a future olympic swimmer! Princess does like the water too. She didn’t at first though. Since taking lessons, she’s grown to love it.

A very cute video. As for Zee being fond of water. I think once she came out, she started putting conditions on her water experiences. I cant’ get her in a pool and I can’t get her wet without her permission. She’s 3 and she won’t take a bath without a shower cap.

Avery loves his bath time… and recently I started taking him the pool and at first he was scared/confused as to why the “tub” was so big. But I kept him close and we moved around the water. Slowly I incorporated a float chair for him and he started to get his kicks going. It’s just another new feature to him. But bath time is still his favorite water element.
