Sidebar: I love makeover day on ANTM and.. even though it’s creepy and I feel sorry for the self esteem of the women, I loved the makeovers on that Extreme Makeover show.
Anywaaaay….
I started this blog in April 2010 when I smushed together a few smaller blogs I was writing. I didn’t know much about the blog world and even less about designing for them.
I don’t know if any of you were around for the beginning of this blog but my header was home made and looked like this:
Nice tagline. Real descriptive, huh. LOL
I then said, screw a tagline and popped this one up:
I kinda really loved this one. One for the colors, two for the fact that Idid it myself and it didn’t suck too bad.
Once I realized I was going to keep this blog going for a while. I decided to get fancy and buy my domain. OK Dan wasn’t available and OK Dani was born.
I got Krystyn of Krizzy Designs to make some adorableness for me:
Looooooved it, (and the new tagline) but now I’m growing up, blogger-wise, and I’m moving to wordpress soon. I’m throwing away my cutesy cartoon girl…even though she’s adorable…and getting a big-girl blog design!!
Enslisted Krystyn again, and she sent me a teaser. Now, it won’t look exactly like this….but it’s the start.
And my new tagline: Goal: A blissful life as Coach, Mom and Wife
Eeeeep….I love it. It’s so fitting.
I’m giggedy geeked yall. Can’t wait to see the beautiful site Krizzy Designs comes up with, and can’t wait to be all fancyshmancy on wordpress. Content will stay the same but there will be better organization. Yippee!!
Has your blog gone through any makeovers or facelifts?
I LOOOOVVVVVEEEEE the new tagline, look and all!!!! I'm still extra new to this blog stuff. If my two kiddos weren't kicking my butt, I'd have a little more time to develop mine more, but since I've only been on for 10 days, lol, I think I can say I gave it another facelift and makeover. It looks really cute now, but I'm sure if it were to get even nearly as successful as yours, I would be giving it more facelifts and organizational changes.

Well of course Ive been thinking of doing a blog makeover since we re no longer "waiting". Or maybe I should just keep it up for the next green bean? LOL.

Hey Dani! I was introduced to blog designs when you gave the preview for this one. lol (can u tell I'm new?) I think I might eventually merge my two blogs as well..I want to give it some time though. What are the benefits of moving to wordpress (if you wrote about it already, can u tell me the link?)? Thanks! And cool work as usual.
