Inspired by my cousin www.domtheyogi.com and by the daily yoga inspiration Nini is posting on www.ninisays.com I have restarted my yoga practice!! 3 times a week I’ll be hitting the mat!
Yoga for me is one of those things I do a lot for a while then fall off for a while, then re-start, remember how much I love it, and wonder why I ever stopped in the first place.
I was searching to see where else an instructor I love was teaching, and got sucked into the vortex of the interweb and ended up on a website about fertility yoga. Have you ever heard of this?

This yoga practice is supposed to help enhance fertility. It seems it’s coming from the angle that the less stressed out you are the easier it is for you to conceive.
Yoga4Fertility’s website says:
The Mayo Clinic recently acknowledged that chronic stress can lead to a variety of health and emotional problems. Yoga is an effective method to reduce stress and anxiety. But in addition, yoga for fertility can help to detoxify the body while relaxing tight muscles and connective tissue. The specific areas in Yoga for fertility of the low back (sacral plexus) hips, groins and pelvis begin to improve in blood flow and circulation-which can aid in healthier gynecological function. As the body relaxes, the mind calms and the nervous system is aided by the breath to help lower stress hormones like cortisol, which can impede reproductive hormone function.
