Oh
Em
Gee
So, last week I wore my hair in a bun. Every day. When I got in, I foolishly loosened my hair, allowed it to dry in the most haphazard of ways, then slept on it (scarfed up) and in the morning, I dampened, moisturized and put it back in a bun. Repeat 5 times.
At no point did I comb through my hair, or attempt to undo the matted wackadoodle way the hair had dried…I just kept bunning it back up….
::sigh::
Saturday I go to wash my hair…. it was a DISASTER. I should’ve taken a picture, I think I was just too horrified to think about the blog.
I shampooed, DCed and tried to detangle one section (barely a section because I wasn’t able to make a part due to the tangled matted mess) and failed miserably.
visions of a buzzcut danced through my head.
I went to the cabinet to look for the slippiest product I had and found this!!!
I got this via a swap from naturally curly (I told you about it HERE and about my haul HERE)
It’s a product for animals.
I didn’t know this at first.
I didn’t care.
The directions say use a nickel sized drop and brush through your (animal’s) hair.
I used a silver dollar sized drop and combed through my hair.
Didn’t work.
I used another silver dollar sized drop….and then….magic.
My hair was just a slippin and a sliding and I was able to work through my mess and get my hair back to “normal”
I lost A LOT of hair. I wanted to cry looking at the amount I had to toss away. (But I consoled myself thinking it was a week’s worth of buildup, plus the detangling loss)
COWBOY MAGIC IS A GODSEND!!!!
I would recommend it to anyone who has mega tangle issues regularly, or to anyone to just keep on hand in case you make an idiot move like I did.
I’m so grateful for ROBIN who brought this to the swap. I owe you Robin. You saved my hair life!
